Once you've seen a few
Delphis pots, you start to see that individual decorators were able to
develop their own individual styles and themes. There are many
examples of this, and some can be seen on this site. For example, Sarah
Worrell who painted the shield shaped dish above (no. 91), used the same
style and glaze combination on other plates, including this pin
dish. Likewise, the two rectangular pin dishes above, painted by
Carol Cutler share a similar style and the same motifs, that can also be
seen on many other plates and
vases which she decorated.

The two no. 81 pin dishes above were
decorated by the same unknown painter who used what appears to be a "JOC"
monogram. What I don't know is whether two similar plates would have
been sold together originally or have been brought together some time
later by a collector.
